What is call tracking?

In the 1930's when this quote was first coined, it was valid. But these days there is a great tool that allows us to get a good handle on how our advertising is performing.....call tracking numbers.

Call tracking is a simple service that allows you to track and monitor how many calls you receive from each individual advert or piece of marketing you do.

How does call tracking work?

It's really simple. It can be set up in three easy steps and it only takes minutes:

1. Choose a set of new telephone numbers.

2. Point the new numbers at your existing phone number using our online dashboard. Don't worry, nothing changes on your existing phone lines, you'll still receive calls from your existing customers on your normal business number.

3. Now you give every advert, every bit of marketing, a unique telephone number. For example, one number for your business cards, one for your website, one for an advert in the local newspaper, one in Yellow Pages and so on.....

And you're done. Everything else stays the same. You continue to receive calls on your existing phone as normal and you answer it in the same way.

But now there's one important difference. You can log into our online dashboard at any time and instantly see how many calls you've received on any of your tracking numbers. If you've just spent several hundreds of pounds on an advert in your local newspaper, doesn't it make sense to find out how many leads that advert has generated? This information is priceless!

How long will it take to set up my call tracking numbers?

Once you've chosen your numbers, it takes less than five minutes to set up your account and activate your numbers!

How long is the contract for a call tracking number?

We don't tie you into a contract and you can cancel your call tracking number at any time. You can simply delete the number from your account via the online portal and your subscription will stop.

Do you charge for changing my target number?

No. You can change your target number using the online portal as many times as you like.

Are there any other hidden charges?

No. We're very proud of our clear and easy to understand pricing. Unlike some providers we charge our calls to the second with no call connection charges, minimum call durations, or rounding the duration of the call up to the next minute.

I don't use Paypal, do you offer any other payment methods?

Yes, we also offer Direct Debit.

Can I route my call tracking number to a mobile phone?

You can route your call tracking number to a mobile phone. As long as you're on either Everything Everywhere, O2, Orange, Three, T-Mobile or Vodafone, the cost is just 5.5p per minute.

Can I route my call tracking number to a VoIP device?

Yes. Each user account is VoIP enabled by default so you simply need to configure your device to register with our platform using the login credentials on your dashboard.

How many concurrent calls can I receive on my call tracking number?

You can receive as many concurrent calls on your call tracking number as you are capable of handling. You are only limited by the number of lines available to your target number.

I have a call tracking number from another provider that I'd like to port to Invoco. Is this possible?

Yes. We simply require you to fill out a Letter of Authority to enable us to contact your existing provider and to start the process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with your existing provider. For further information please contact our Sales Team. Some network providers will also charge an administration fee to port a number away from their network so you should also clarify this with your existing provider.

I would like to port my Invoco call tracking number to another provider. Is this possible?

Yes. You will need to fill out a Letter of Authority with your new provider who will then contact us to commence the porting process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with the new provider. There is a minimum service term of 12 months for numbers to be ported away from our network and we would charge a £20 administration fee.

Can my call tracking number be called from overseas?

Yes.
