A Hosted PBX, also known as a virtual switchboard, gives you:

    You get all the functionality of the most up-to-date, top of the range equipment with minimal upfront investment. A basic old-style PBX would cost around £35-£50 per month, leased over five years. With a hosted PBX, the only upfront cost is any extra VoIP phones you need and you’re not tied in to a contract.

    Moving from a traditional PBX to VoIP technology can result in a big reduction in fixed costs as very often only one broadband connection is required, allowing you to cancel unused ISDN and analogue lines.

    You can make changes whenever you need to, without having to call out an engineer. If you want to setup a new call queue or change which phones are part of a group just give us a call and we’ll make the change straight away.

  • Remote working
    Your new, Hosted PBX uses VoIP technology to create virtual extensions, so your staff can work from anywhere that has an internet connection. All their phone calls and voicemail will come through to that location.

  • Free calls
    Calls between the virtual extensions on your virtual switchboard are free, so if your business has several offices (or home workers) they can make free calls to each other.

Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to set up my Hosted PBX?

Once we've finalised the details with you, the Hosted PBX is available within 24-48 hours.

How long is the contract for a Hosted PBX?

We don't tie you into a contract and you can cancel your Hosted PBX subscription at any time.

What happens if I need to change my services, will I pay any penalties?

Services can be added or removed at any time. There are no tie-ins. We simply amend your subscription to reflect the new configuration. Just contact our Support Team.

Are there any other hidden charges?

No. We're very proud of our clear and easy to understand pricing. You only pay for what you use. Unlike some providers we charge our calls to the second with no call connection charges, minimum call durations, or rounding the duration of the call up to the next minute.

Do I need to migrate my broadband connection to Invoco Telecom?

No. You can use your existing broadband provider.

I'm not sure if my broadband connection is fast enough for VoIP?

The bandwidth used for VoIP is very low, so very often VoIP will work perfectly well even on slow connections. More important is the stability of the connection. Give our Sales Team a call and we can give you advice on the viability of VoIP for you.

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer Paypal and Direct Debit.

How many concurrent calls can I receive on my Hosted PBX?

Each handset can receive two concurrent calls.

Do you supply the VoIP Phones?

Yes. As well as our competitive pricing, we pre-configure our phones prior to shipping so they are plug and play making it very easy for you to get up and running.

I'd like to source our own VoIP phones. Is this possible?

It is possible but we would strongly advise to source your IP phones through us for two reasons. Firstly, phones sourced through Invoco are pre-configured by us prior to shipping, so they are plug and play making it very easy for you to get up and running. Secondly, we cannot support third party IP phones.

I have existing telephone numbers that I'd like to keep. Can I port my existing numbers to Invoco Telecom?

Yes. We simply require you to fill out a Letter of Authority to enable us to contact your existing provider and to start the process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with your existing provider. For further information please contact our Sales Team. Some network providers will also charge an administration fee to port a number away from their network so you should also clarify this with your existing provider.

I would like to port my Invoco numbers to another provider. Is this possible?

Yes. You will need to fill out a Letter of Authority with your new provider who will then contact us to commence the porting process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with the new provider. There is a minimum service term of 12 months for numbers to be ported away from our network and we would charge a £20 administration fee.

Can my numbers be called from overseas?

Calls to our 01, 02 and 03 virtual numbers can be made from overseas. Calls to our 08 numbers may be possible but this cannot be guaranteed. If you have overseas clients then it is advisable to offer them an alternative geographic number to call.
