How long will it take to set up my 0871 number?
Once you've chosen your numbers, it takes less than five minutes to set up your account. However, 0871 numbers are regulated by the Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA) so we will need to contact you to get further information before we can activate the numbers. This process normally takes between 3 and 5 working days.
How long is the contract for a 0871 number?
We don't tie you into a contract and you can cancel your 0871 number at any time. You can simply delete the number from your account via the online portal and your subscription will stop.
How much rebate can I earn on my 0871 number?
For every call you receive on your 0871 number which is forwarded onto a standard landline number, we pay you up to 5p per minute. Simple. And if you're VAT registered we'll pay VAT on that as well.
Are there any minimum call volumes I need to achieve to qualify for a rebate?
No, unlike some 0871 number providers, we pay you for every call you receive on your 0871 number that is forwarded onto a standard landline number. There are minimum call volumes or durations required. If the total minutes you receive on your 0871 number in a given month is less than 500 minutes, we rollover the minutes to the following month until 500 minutes are achieved and then pay the rebate.
Why do I need to check that we comply with the Phone-paid Services Authority Code of Practice?
0871 numbers are considered to be premium rate numbers and are regulated by the Phone-paid Services Authority. Certain uses of 0871 numbers do not require registration with the Phone-paid Services Authority, such as customer support services, directory enquiry services and classified advertisement services but many other types of services do. You need to check the Phone-paid Services Authority website to check if you need to register your service. Invoco Telecom reserves the right to check that you are operating your service in accordance with the Code of Practice and if necessary to request any evidence of the Phone-paid Services Authority registration. Invoco Telecom also reserves the right to suspend any numbers that it considers to be in breach of the Code of Practice.
When do I receive my rebate?
Rebates are worked out monthly and paid within 35 days of the end of the qualifying month. E.g., the rebate for calls received in June would be paid during the first week of August.
Do you charge for changing my redirect number?
No. You can change your redirect number using the online portal as many times as you like.
Are there any other hidden charges?
No. We're very proud of our clear and easy to understand pricing. Unlike some providers we charge our calls to the second with no call connection charges, minimum call durations, or rounding the duration of the call up to the next minute.
What payment methods do you offer?
We offer Paypal and Direct Debit.
Can I route my 0871 number to a mobile phone? ***
You can route your 0871 number to a mobile phone TOTALLY FREE as long as you're on either Everything Everywhere, O2, Orange, Three, T-Mobile or Vodafone.
Can I route my 0871 number to a VoIP device?
Yes. Each user account is VoIP enabled by default so you simply need to configure your device to register with our platform using the login credentials on your dashboard.
How many concurrent calls can I receive on my 0871 number?
You can receive as many concurrent calls on your 0871 number as you are capable of handling. You are only limited by the number of lines available to your target number.
How much does it cost to call an 0871 number?
Calls to our 0871 numbers cost 13p per minute including VAT plus your phone company's access charge.
Do I have to state how much it costs to call my 0871 numbers on my marketing materials?
If you're marketing to consumers then yes you'll need to clearly state how much it will cost to call your 0871 number where practicable. The recommended wording is "Calls will cost Xp per minute plus your phone company's access charge." If you're marketing to businesses this isn't strictly required but we consider it good business practice to do so.
I would like to port my existing 0871 number to Invoco. Is this possible?
Yes. We simply require you to fill out a Letter of Authority to enable us to contact your existing provider and to start the process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with your existing provider. For further information please contact our Sales Team. Some network providers will also charge an administration fee to port a number away from their network so you should also clarify this with your existing provider.
I would like to port my Invoco 0871 number to another provider. Is this possible?
Yes. You will need to fill out a Letter of Authority with your new provider who will then contact us to commence the porting process. The length of time it takes to port the number can vary significantly depending on whether or not we already have a porting agreement with the new provider. There is a minimum service term of 12 months for numbers to be ported away from our network and we would charge a £20 (ex VAT) administration fee.
Can my 0871 number be called from overseas?
Possibly, but this can not be guaranteed. If you have overseas clients then it is advisable to offer them an alternative geographic number to call.
