March 2019 Product Update

Exhausted by their Christmas cake and minced pie fueled frenzy of last month, the development team have only pushed out two new integrations this month but they’re good ‘uns!

Microsoft OneDrive integration

A very common conversation I’ve since last month’s update (feels like Groundhog Day) has gone something like:

Customer: “Jez, I see you can store call data, call recordings and invoices in Dropbox and Google Drive which is great but I use Microsoft OneDrive. Can I use that instead?”
Me: “No.”
Customer: “Grrrr!” 😡

However, as of now the conversation will be more like:

Customer: “Jez, I see you can store call data, call recordings and invoices in Dropbox and Google Drive which is great but I use Microsoft OneDrive. Can I use that instead?”
Me: “Yes.”
Customer: “Yay!” 🙂

Yes, you can now connect your Invoco account to Microsoft OneDrive and automatically store all of your call recordings, call data, weekly reports and monthly invoices. Check out our Microsoft OneDrive integration page to see how easy it is to set up.

Insightly integration

Insightly is a great CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool for small businesses and is another one of our most commonly requested integrations.

So what does the Insightly integration to the Invoco Hosted PBX, call tracking and virtual number platforms do?

1. On receiving calls, we’ll do a real-time lookup into your Insightly app and try to match the caller’s number to a contact, and;
2. If we find a match, we’ll add a call note for that contact with details of the call and a link to the call recording, or;
3. If we don’t find a match, we’ll create a new contact in Insightly automatically and add a call note to that contact.

If you’re using our Hosted PBX platform, you can even have real-time desktop notifications on your computer which will interrogate Insightly, display the caller’s details and provide a link straight into the caller’s Insightly contact record. We love it! For further information, check out our Insightly integration page.

Well that’s it for this month. As usual, I’d love to get your feedback on our new features and if you have any ideas or requests please let me know.
