Fueled primarily by minced pies and left-over Christmas cake, our development team have been in an absolute frenzy this month, releasing some really useful stuff. I should really get myself a stash of minced pies to feed them all year round!

Google Drive integration

Suprisingly, a very common conversation I had throughout 2018 went something like:

Customer: “Jez, I see you can store call data, recordings and invoices in Dropbox which is great but I use Google Drive. Can I use Google Drive instead?”
Me: “No.”
Customer: “Grrrr!” 😡

However, in 2019 the conversation will be more like:

Customer: “Jez, I see you can store call data, recordings and invoices in Dropbox which is great but I use Google Drive. Can I use Google Drive instead?”
Me: “Yes.”
Customer: “Yay!” 🙂

Yes, it’s been a while coming but you can now connect your Invoco account to Google Drive and automatically store all of your call recordings, call data, weekly reports and monthly invoices. Check out our Google Drive integration page to see how easy it is to set up.

Google Chrome Click2Dial extension

When you’re running a telesales team, you want to get them making as many outgoing calls as possible. Problem is, manually dialling telephone numbers is prone to error and slow to boot. Wouldn’t it be easier if you could just click on the telephone number in your online CRM, sales app or helpdesk software and have your phone automatically connect to that number?

We think so too, so we’ve just released our Invoco Dialler extension to the Google Chrome Web Store.

Secure Document Storage in Customer Portal

Ensuring end-to-end email security is a bit of a problem. Whilst there are email encryption services out there, they’re a bit clunky and not particularly easy to use.

So, in order to get around the issue of securely getting files to and from customers that contain sensitive or private information, we’ve cut email out of the equation altogether. You can now upload and download your files directly to your Invoco portal.

Multi-select functionality

We’ve added multi-select functionality at various places in the portal which will make downloading or deleting multiple call recordings, voicemail messages, etc., way easier. No more individually deleting dozens of voicemail messages, hurrah!
